Backyard play

The little kids have been playing in the neighbors backyard lately.(they moved) They have been having so much fun!
It is literally like a jungle back there too. Its has grass that grows in clumps and is wispy in one part so its like having trails. In one area the "trail" opens out under the canopy of a few trees and the ground is covered in really green mossy looking grass. Its actually really pretty under there. The lady that lives behind us has a bird store and she had lots of exotic birds in her backyard so there are birds screeching all the time and it sounds like a real jungle! ;p

I love Boaz and Clair's expressions in this one! I wish the leaves weren't blocking Boaz's face. :/

That is some parrot through the fence. :) You can barely see him.

Watermelons

Clair's watermelon is finally ready!
The vine was in our front yard in front of our house for a long time. We got 2 melons off it. ;)

A few weeks before we even knew we had some melons growing on the vine, during our morning bible time, Clair prayed that God would give her some watermelons. A few weeks later, momma and her were outside, and momma found a big watermelon growing!(third picture)

This is when we picked her FIRST watermelon. :) She was beaming with happiness.

Conoeing

Hello! It is I! :)
Daddy has been getting 3 day weekends lately, so a few weeks ago on a Monday morning, we went canoeing! I didn't take any pictures while on the canoe though.. I was too scared my camera would get wet. Next time though. :)

There were SO many manatees! Haha, guess that is why they call it Manatee Cove.

Cute saying

So we went to my Grandpas house to visit and swim in the pool. We had a great time. After we ate lunch we swam for a while and I had forgot to put suntan lotion on the little ones. So I decided after about an hour to have them take an ice-cream brake and while they ate I would cover them in lotion. Well Prov says" My Mom says I have to get out so she can put sun burn on me". Pretty cute!

Another cute saying came from Kathleen and Elise. You have to understand that when Elise cooks, it is a work of art. At lunch time Kathleen made some french fries and when she got them out of the oven she says to Elise, "Would you season the fries for us?" 
Elise says" How do you want me to do that?"
Kathleen says "Ya know,  use your powers!"
Elise says" You mean my POWDERS like garlic and onion powder?"
