Conoeing

Hello! It is I! :)
Daddy has been getting 3 day weekends lately, so a few weeks ago on a Monday morning, we went canoeing! I didn't take any pictures while on the canoe though.. I was too scared my camera would get wet. Next time though. :)

There were SO many manatees! Haha, guess that is why they call it Manatee Cove.

It was so bright out poor Clair had a hard time smiling. :)

There were some very cute kittens that all the little ones loved.

Doesn't it look like a house from a magazine... just take away the cars. (NO editing on the grass and sky! They were so bright.

Clair! Happy birthday dear!
Clair is ecstatically happy today. She said, "You can take as many pictures of me as you want!"
I was shocked. (She usually does not like anyone to take pictures of her.)
Here are some from today...

She was so happy she could only do BIG cheesy cute smiles. One of the highlights of her days is she got a new big kid bike with handle breaks!!
Right now her and Mommy are out to the store then to Dairy Queen. *yum*

Oh my has it really been 2 months sense our last 'real' post!?! We have been pretty busy with the businesses of life. :)

I got a new camera and I ♥ it! It is the Canon PowerShot A1100IS. They were on sale at Sam's Club! ☺

Washington D.C. Trip

We all had a great time in the FREEZING COLD Washington D.C.!

We toured the Capitol on Friday, and went sight seeing Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday night  Elise and I played our instruments (with our home school band) at the National Christmas Tree.

It was a bitter cold temperature of 24 degrees, with a massive snow storm heading straight for us. The sky was a brownish color! It was so cool. :D We walked and walked and walked with a trumpet and flute case big jackets and two big strollers for 20+ blocks to get to our car. We were all ready very tired from walking all day. It was a very remember-able  time for us all.

The picture below is of me, Elise and Clair making snow angels in our hosts' yard. BRR!

The pictures below are of Providence with snowflakes on her eyelashes. The picture above the snow angels is the contitutionit is a bad picture, there was no flash aloud. :( Also the National Christmas Tree and the WashingtonMonument.

Inside the Capitol looking up at the Rotunda. It was beautiful. And above, who is that?!? Is really the President in front of the Capitol!?!

Above is some weird/interesting things sticking up out of the ground. They were VERY big, I am amazed that people can make such amazing buildings.
